Video Production: Shooting Stage

After the scripting and storyboarding stages comes the shooting stage. This is the most expensive stage of the video production process so it’s best to get it right first time. HSQ Productions advocates planning the video beforehand, otherwise your vision may not be realised. Moreover you don’t want to incur the cost of a reshoot. Costs for this stage can include actors, crew, equipment, travel and location hire.

The shooting stage is where your vision starts coming together. Shooting lasts for as long as budgeted. For example the ‘Done in a Day’ package allows for 4 hours of shooting. The length of the shooting time depends on the package you have chosen and the vision you have.

Once the shooting stage has been successfully completed we then move onto the editing stage of the production process.
